Efteling (Holland) has announced to close woody Pegasus and replace it with a dueling woody. The new coaster will be named "Joris en de Draak", and is themed to the tale of George and the Dragon. The park released some artwork...

Specs:
- length: 720 meter each
- hight: 25 meter
- trains: 4
- capacity/hour: 1700
- max. speed: 75 km/h
- min. length: 1.10 m.
- cost: 12 milion euros

Opening: 6/1/2010

This park is known for its great theming, their last project was De vliegende hollander (translated = the flying dutchman, a water coaster with some excellent theming)

Edit: rumor has it GCI will build it...

This looks nice! Is it the same company that built Lightning Racers & Gwazi?

Yes, Gwazi and Lightning Racer were built by GCI.

I have heard that the new rollercoaster will use one continuous track, like this: when you start the ride in station A, you arrive at station B. Do Gwazi and Lightning Racers use this? Are any other that you know?

The tearing down of Pegasus has begun:

You can see pieces on the right.

A close-up.

Always sad to see a coaster go, but not this one . (It was short, had no speed and was way too rough.)

Announcement of new coaster.

They want the new new coaster to open the first of june so construction should start soon. I will keep you updated!
