Yes, it would have been better if they had built one (taller one) instead of 2 smaller ones. But because Toverland (not far from efteling) already added a great GCI in 2007 (Troy), they had to make something special, else everyone would say they copied the competition. But for normal people and families 27 metres is high enough I guess .

Well just the fact that the coasters will be dueling is awesome as well! I mean when I go to Hershey Park I love watching Lightning Racers!

Construction update:

I heard something about a transfer rack being built now, not sure if it is true though, it is the first time I've heard of a transfer rack on a wooden coaster. However from the start of this season the park will be open year round, so it could be correct.

Lots of wooden coasters have transfer tracks. Lightning Racer, Gwazi, WildCat. They are just hidden inside the actual station and sometimes actually placed infront of the station like Mean Streak and Blue Streak.

Theming update:

Huge dragon has arrived! I heard it will be an animatronic, so it will move, but I think it's only gonna be the head, by looking at the pictures. This park is great with theming so I am sure they will pull it off.
